3D ion maps reconstructed from APT data for Y, Y-O and Hf-O core-cluster ions in a ODS Fe-14Cr alloy containing Hf.
3D ion maps from HT9 alloy Fe ion irradiated to 10dpa at 470oC. 2.0 at% Ni isosurfaces highlighting Ni segregation to the high and low angle grain boundaries and dislocation lines present in the analised volume.

Variations in hardness of the 17-4PH with heat treatment time at 480 °C and 590 °C.

Congratulations to Yeli Guma!


Congratulations are in order to Yeli Guma, who has succesfully passed her DPhil viva today.

Yeli Guma, from Linacre College, has succesfully passed her DPhil viva today. She has received excellent feedback from her examiners after presenting and discussing the results of her thesis ‘The Effects of Heat Treatment/Irradiation on The Microstructure and Properties Of Iron-based Reactor Alloys’.
